What is going on here? Let me know what you think. It is possible these hats could get out of hand!
This was the beginning of the re-awakening of my interest in witch's hats and what they silently get up to. Zooming in only comfirmed the seriousness of the situation.
I found the highly organised and managed urban life in Japan a fertile ground for a wide range of different hats doing interesting things. What about these two? Who are they and what are they saying to one another? Help me out here, I'll put up more later after we've had a little think. Could be a little zine coming out of this I think.

Yes Amanda, the first couple of photos have a very strong military overtone, all on parade for inspection maybe.

It will probably be the sum total of all the variations. The one of the blue couple may have just visited Mt Fiji or maybe just likes a nice ice-cream.
