"age marks"

At the beginning of the year, I was working with Trace Willans from Western Australia on little books she made with stained and sometimes waxed pages. We swapped books and they went off across the country with their new additions. Trace has now moved to sunny Qld and we have momentarily lost working contact but in the mean time, I have continued working on one of her little books I've called "age marks" .

There are quite a few tiny images so I'll put them into my website  for interested voyeurs.

Gorgeous texture and details to feast on. Have even been to Foyle's, and it is always on Ian's list when he visits London.

What a lovely coincidence (there's that word again). The Foyle's ad I used in the collage came out of an old 1916 magazine I'm sure you and Ian were there much later.

I knew it was a London institution, but that's close to a century ago! Long may it continue!
