A cover (Kraft paper/card of course) makes a long continuous drawing so much more presentable. It must be in the opening and page turning especially with transparent paper that lets you look into the future as well as in the past, that makes the difference.
"train lines" is a continuous drawing of time and distance done on a train from Ormiston to South Brisbane stations. The drawing lasted 53 minutes under the influence of the train's speed, acceleration and braking, cornering, track conditions and the state of the train driver's mental health. It was done with black pigmented ink on 75gsm tracing paper.
