I LOVE the drawings AND the book.(perhaps eliminate the ribbons?)
The drawings are LOVELY Jack. The ink looks like it has been frozen right at the moment of bleeding into the paper. Deeeelicious :)
I agree Anna, no more ribbons. Glad you like the drawings
Thanks Rob,The ink is a bit like our weather this morning brrrr freezing
The drawings are fantastic Jack and look just perfect in that little book.
Fabulous drawings! And wonderful mark making.
Thanks Helen, with your help I hope to make the book even better next time round.
Thanks Leslie, I love your mark making too and aspire to achieve your almost Japanese simplicity of composition. I tend to always put in too much and only realize this when it's too late.
That bird is killing me! So ethereal.
Thanks Roberta, I didn't see a bird until I looked again at the fourth drawing. Pure coincidence though, not intentional.
Yes such beauty in your drawings - colours, shapes, details all so lovely. I look and look - so lovely.
Thanks Kim, you gotta get lucky once in a while.
